I'm looking for a decent rimfire scope to put on mac's 50th anniversary 10/22.  I have a 50th anniversary 10/22 with TechSights and picked up a second one which will be a scoped version to loan to students whose eyesight may require a little help.

Does anyone have any experience with this scope?

Thanks.

TJ Kackowski

You need to talk with 42769vette (Alan Alcorn).

He's one of our Blue hats and is a Vortex dealer.  He'll get you all sorted out with a scope for that 10/22 (and any other rifle you want scoped).

You can PM here on this site or contact him via his web site ... http://aaoptics.com/

Fwiw I think the crossfire II should be fine for at 25m. Ymmv

Thanks for the advice, TJ and 509.  It looks like a new Crossfire II is the right choice after hearing from 42769vette.

Thanks everyone for the direction. 42769vette deserves thanks and recognition for truly exceptional service. I'm very pleased with the scope, base, and rings. I highly recommend AA Optics.

I've attached a few pictures of the scope mounted on mac66's 50th Anniversary rifle. No problem with eye relief.

That looks really nice, and I am confident you will be happy with the scope. Alan is the best!

I have noticed some binding of magazines in the magazine wells of this model. Anyone else notice this? Have a recommended fix?

President Reagan is quoted as saying 'There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you don't care who gets the credit.' This is a valid observation, and a powerful tool.

I don't think there is many folks in the industry who know more about scopes than Alan.  he is the man and I will promise you his customer service is second to none.  No question about it.

Oh my goodness... look at those pics!  The scope was installed on the rifle upside down!!

I prefer to put the rifle on top of the scope.  It's more of a challenge.  ;)

It would give you a distinct advantage when SB's post AQTs upside down!   **)

I picked up one of these stocks for my LTR.  It just takes a few strokes of a mill file to dull/bevel the edges of the mag well. Mags fall free and load smoothly now.

Yep, Alan is the best.  He'll help you get the right scope for your needs, whether he gets a sale out of it or not.  Couldn't ask for a better blue hat also.  One of these days we'll have to switch his color to orange.   O0

Im pretty content with blue for now, but we will see what happens.

Thanks for all the praise folks
