A quick report, to be followed by more details and pix when we've recovered a bit more:

14 American patriots turned out at the Nampa Rod & Gun Club for our final shoot of the year, braving the iffy Idaho fall weather (don't like it, wait a few minutes!).  When all was done, we had found four rifle(wo)men amongst us!  Congrats to Sarah, Jess, Shea and Lana!  We had at least three more who were knockin' on the door, and should make it next time.  Great improvement was shown by all, and the Redcoats took some severe punishment.

Some of that weather did show up.  We had to chase a few shooting mats on Sunday, in spite of piling rocks on them, and part of our target line blew down overnight.  We got chased under cover once, but otherwise continued through occasionally blustery showers.

Thanks from myself and Amazon American (Pat) for everyone's enthusiasm, safety and perseverance.  Y'all come on back - and bring some friends!

(Ben - we have your stapler!)

Finally, some pix!  We didn't get very many this time, due to being short-handed, but we got some...

Our youth shooters Saturday PM:

Posting Redcoats in the early morning light on Sunday

The line gives those Redcoats a lickin'!

On to the AQTs...

Our first Rifleman is a woman!  Congrats to Sarah, with a 216!

Jess is next up, with a 220 that he later backed up with a 229, for high score of the weekend!  Way to go!

Shea busts open the door at a 224, running his CZ bolt gun (seemed like the barrel reached halfway to the target)!  ;D He backed that up with a 216 and 213.

And Lana is our 4th qualifier of the weekend.  We let her worry that her 210 would qualify for a shower for a few seconds, before revealing she'd earlier shot a 217!

There are a few more photos in the album here.

Thanks to everyone for coming out.  Get in some dry practice (no need to go out in the cold or snow!) and come see us in April!  And if you know anyone interested in the history, we're doing a Libertyseed the evening of November 10th at the Eagle library!

Wish I could've been there.  That's a great Rifleman-to-student ratio!

During the whole affair, the rebels attacked us in a very scattered, irregular manner, but with perseverance and resolution, nor did they ever dare to form into a regular body. Indeed they knew too well what was proper, to do so. Whoever looks upon them as an irregular mob, will find himself very much mistaken. They have men amongst them who know very well what they are about..."Gen. Hugh, Earl Percy
