We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Two days of shooting, history, and honoring the boys of '75.
Six shooters on Sat, Stephanie, Sarah, Elizebeth and Christina, all sisters, came ready to shoot with frequent calls to dad for more ammo.
Kalen a twelve year old walk on, eager to shoot.
And Kit, a good shooter, and capable big game hunter with little experience is sling supported shooting.
Kit went on a down hill spiral as he tried out new technique, before showing improvemen over his good start.
Stephanie had a previous appleseed under her belt, and with her sisters who had recived good backgrounding in shooting from their dad
all showed improvements.
Kalen, had fun but was not ready to apply his all to marksmanship on Saterday
Sunday started with a new shooter on the line, Dan an appleseed under his belt from four years back came out to shoot Sunday, all the girls (his sisters) were back, and Kit was shooting in the afternoon We took it easy in the morning a red coat, sighter squares, some stock build up. with sight adjustments, then took a history break and lunch waiting for the shade to hit the fireing line.
Shortly afternoon we started  and got a lot of shooting done.
Had a volley for liberty and as the sound of the last volley faded away the girls, al four of them, with voices rising, sang "Amazing          Grace". Their harmony was very sweet, and came as a suprise to half the people there.
My eyes were  welled up in tears.
After the "official" end of applesed for the day Dan fired a 211

Great shoot!  Yes, we would have liked more shooters, but the ones we had were attentive and safe.  Thank you, Ladies.  And men.  First AppleSeed that I've been to where females outnumbered males.  Thank you ladies for your good nature and persistence.  You greatly improved your AQT scores over the weekend.  You know the basics now.  Apply and practice.  We are proud of all of you.
Kit, good job.  You were living proof of AppleSeed testing equipment.  You persevered after losing your scope, and I know how that feels!
Kudos to Dan for persevering and making Rifleman.  Encourage you to take an orange hat if you can fit it in your busy schedule.
Thanks to Tim for bringing his grandson to his first AppleSeed and for his support in getting Heart Mountain Rod and Gun Club behind us. Nice range and location. The covered firing line was a real boon in the July sun.  Thanks, Heart Mountain.
Thanks to all who helped:
Mark Davis, who traveled from Bozeman and got the girls to sing.  Always a pleasure listening to Mark.
rocket, SBIT, whose family offered us great hospitality.
Beemer, who came over from Sheridan on his one day off.
BigLonely, who traveled from Guernsey.
It may seem like we had a lot of firepower, instructor-wise, and we did.  It sure helps with a lot of new shooters.  Thanks to you all.
