I have the Daniels Defense A1.5 on my AR15,  I replaced the Windage adjuster with the DPMS Rapidex Knob.  It used a 1/16 roll pin.  The Tech Sight seems to have a smaller roll pin.  I'm using a Snap-On roll pin punch that measures to the correct diameter. I would really like to install a Rapidex Knob on the tech sights.  It has 10 adjustments per rotation vs the 5 on the tech sight.

Somewhere on here there's a thread on how to do this. I want to say they're Winchester rapid adjustment knobs but I don't remember since I didn't convert mine. I'll loop in my buddy DryFire. He'll know.

Oooh! Shiny. Where do I get one?
"We have always looked upon men as a set of beings naturally free - that a people can never be divested of those invaluable rights and liberties which are necessary to the happiness of individuals, to the well-beings of communities or to a well regulated state, but by their own negligence, imprudence, timidity or rashness. They are seldom lost, but when foolishly forfeited or tamely resigned." ~Jonas Clarke

I put rapidex knobs on both of my 10/22 LTRs. I utilized a cut off finish nail/brad nail to drive the existing pin out. If I remember right I then also re-used the pin with the new knob. The fun part was compressing the spring while also lining up the holes. I resorted to utilizing a clamp to compress the spring and hold the knob on while I drove the pin.

Now, if only there was a Rapidex knob for elevation...

That is just what Iwas thinking.  The little wrench is a pain.  I use the screwdriver on the leatherman to turn the wheel.
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery

Yup.  On my SKS, I use the tip of a bullet.  It's just so slow.

I plan on painting the groves different colors as well to make it easire to see if it has moved or just slipped.  On the SKS I think it may just be easier to use the front sight to adjust elevation.  I have it installed I now need time to SHOOT it.  :wb:
