We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Tiny but terrific! We had but 9 rifles on the line Sat AM out of a capacity of 20, but thems who did brave foul weather on Saturday were a treat to work with. This is an unusual venue for Appleseeds. It's in a very highly populated area and as a result, we are restricted to 22LR. The Wyoming Antelope Club is a very nice facility, offering many shooting disciplines and events and the range they let us use is gorgeous. We were very thankful for the wide cover when the rain started pouring down!

We had a few "repeat offenders" on the line and it was great to see ya'll come back!  O0

Javier came back and made score - kudos sir. Javier is Army all the way and promised to let his fellow soldiers know about the program and our no cost to active military policy. Randy came back and worked hard, which paid off with a score in excess of 220. Randy did what precious few Appleseed attendees do - once he made score, he offered his shoulder to help push the cart. He will be serving as an IIT at his first event on April 19th at Hernando Sportsman's Club. Way to go sir! Huzaaah! Less than 3% of AS attendees go on to serve our worthy cause in any capacity and I would say that AS attendees are some of the very best Americans.

There was sweet little Ally - only nine, but so self-governed - clearly well reared and a pleasure to have around. Her dad, Tyler should be proud not only of his fine daughter, but of his score of 214 on the fabled AQT - way to go sir! Dale came back after a few years and brung his lovely growed daughter and Chris with him - nicely done sir.

Our own IIT DwightC was accompanied by his lovely bride Rebecca and she worked hard, helping us with admin duty and shooting as well. She'd like to see the verbiage of the old T shirts brung back and the color choices expanded - especially for the ladies as she does not cotton to pink.  **)

I'll get some pics up tomorrow if work allows. Many thanks to all who came out. Huzaaaah!

Soggy Seed! Despite the pouring rain, mud and wind gusting so hard it popped the target backers, sending some of them blowing down range, our fine group of patriots never faltered. Attached is a testament to their hard work.

(Note to all - it's a good idea to strip the old targets off the backer before mounting your AQT. Haha)
"We have always looked upon men as a set of beings naturally free - that a people can never be divested of those invaluable rights and liberties which are necessary to the happiness of individuals, to the well-beings of communities or to a well regulated state, but by their own negligence, imprudence, timidity or rashness. They are seldom lost, but when foolishly forfeited or tamely resigned." ~Jonas Clarke
