Any interest in a local PBS program on Appleseed?
« on: March 18, 2014, 05:48:24 PM »
Good day all,

I am not saying I can absolutely make this happen, but.........

I used to host a TV show on a local PBS affiliate (KSMQ in Austin, MN).  The show was boring and MN dropped "legacy funding" so I only lasted two seasons  :(   (Not to mention I have a face for radio) ....  :P

On the good side, it left me with several connections at the TV stations.  I believe I may be able to convince them to do a show on Appleseed.   The program would be put on YouTube after airing on their channels.

Should I go for it?  What are thoughts?

I am actually doing a tv interview for AS next week for a program called Wisconsin Forward which will be on the pbs channel. If there's any opportunity out there to promote, go for it! You never know who you'll reach!

I'm not in MN, but I say go for it.  Just fly Slim in and have him host and star in it.   -:)  It will be a sure-fire hit.   O0

Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery
