These videos were shot in 2012 at the 1/2 day Remington High Power Clinic at Camp Butner. This clinic preceeds the Eastern Creedmoor Cup matches (3- 800 aggregate days) and Creedmoor EIC match (50 shots no sighters, top 10% earn distinguished points).

I meant to get these up back during the winter and have them as a sticky.

These are excellent btw. I certainly picked up a few tips I can use. Thanks for posting them.
"We have always looked upon men as a set of beings naturally free - that a people can never be divested of those invaluable rights and liberties which are necessary to the happiness of individuals, to the well-beings of communities or to a well regulated state, but by their own negligence, imprudence, timidity or rashness. They are seldom lost, but when foolishly forfeited or tamely resigned." ~Jonas Clarke

For those of you who haven't taken the time to watch these videos or who didn't know about them. Watch them, you will be introduced to more of the basic skills that it takes to be a good shooter. You still have to dryfire, to practice positions, to keep your rifle clean and oiled, to know your zeroes, and to practice live fire. But they help.

Worth a bump.  Learned a metric butt-ton about leather slings today.  Since I'm not into NRA or CMP shooting (yet), this provided a lot of insight as I periodically come across these on the line.

"Responsibility is a unique concept... You may share it with others, but your portion is not diminished. You may delegate it, but it is still with you... If responsibility is rightfully yours, no evasion, or ignorance or passing the blame can shift the burden to someone else. Unless you can point your finger at the man who is responsible when something goes wrong, then you have never had anyone really responsible.

Endorsed. I ran across Mike's update last year, thanks to the "Show unread posts" feature, but these are great videos.
