We hosted the Local Fox Affiliate on Sunday and the Broadcast will be on at 10pm. You can see a digital broadcast after this airs on their website. Fox46 Charlotte.

This was an incredible event! We had two fantastic days of weather. 20 shooters attended including 5 kids, who were awesome. These kids knew a great deal of the history and were engaged the entire weekend. Fox4 ran most of the event as the SBIT2 and did a GREAT job! We had 3 Border Raiders from South Carolina, Cadams, DreamerofDreams and Adena. Thank you so much for your help and thank you to Heather for incredible renditions of the Strikes and for giving a great interview with the media.

We had 2 new rifleman and 1 new riflewoman. Jack R. scored a 215, Tim P. scored a 222, and Hannah G. scored a 215. Huzzah! We had 4 requals, Michael W. 229, Jonus 216, Gary R. 235 (with a bolt action rifle), and Phillip G. 215. Ken H. and Nate G. were very close and with persistence, they will become rifleman soon!

We had a reporter from Fox 46 Charlotte news stop by on Sunday for a couple hours. Thanks to all the shooters for helping us work this in our schedule. We did not fall behind at all and I credit this to a great corp of Instructors and really good students who were so attentive all weekend! The interview went very!

We had 4 participants take orange hats! This is a record for me at one event. Huzzah!! Phillip G., Hannah G., Gary R. and Mike C. Thank you to all for stepping up! Special thanks to the Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club, they are excellent hosts and great partners! I can't wait for the next event in Charlotte!

I want to give another shout out to the kids who were paying such good attention and were able to remember every little detail about the safety rules and instruction!  Well done!

Congratulations to the students and instructors who made it such an excellent experience! I do envy y'all wearing short sleeves a mere two weeks after our arctic Winterseed.

I plan to send a link of the video to my local TV station's news director (who is also the president of our club). Perhaps they might like to do something similar at our next local AS. Maybe local news all over the country could get seeded with this idea...

An outstanding group of both new and returning Shooters!  The news story added an "audible" call on Sunday morning, but everyone including the great group of kids simply focused on marksmanship and heritage and we didn't skip a beat.  One of the best events I've attended and it is very clear that everyone on the line truly "knows what they are about."   

Fireman Bob, don't be too jealous of our weather.  We lucked out for the weekend, but have snow and ice headed our way tomorrow.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at another event soon, Huzah! to all participants and many thanks to "The Hats" for all of your help this weekend.
