Well, so much for discussion. To the individual who locked the "Naughty Guns" topic, it would be nice if you

1. provided a reason in the topic.
2. Didn't simply delete all after the initial post. There was valuable information that might help keep someone out of trouble.

For a relatively open discussion of the topic of guns in MD, you can go to http://www.usrifleteams.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=25503&hl=

You will need to create an account and the website is directed toward High Power shooters. But it generally contains valuable information on shooting and reloading.

I'm sure it was because of my post, which was not about politics, but about the risk of traveling in MD.

Heck Bob, let's not worry about it.

No, Bob, it was my post.

Suffice it to say, always be careful to obey the law, no matter which state you are in. Also, just because your state is fairly lenient, not all states are.
They have men amongst them who know very well what they are about, having been employed as Rangers against the Indians and Canadians and this country being much covered with wood, and hilly, is very advantageous for their method of fighting. . . . ".  Lord Percy

Sounds like New Englanders to me.

And what I find very disturbing is that even obeying all the laws doesn't help in some places. I imagine that lawyers are lining up for the privilege of filing that lawsuit.
