:sos:Does anyone know of a good, trustworthy armorer in Virginia who works on M14/M1A rifles? I would appreciate it if you would email the contact information to firemanco51974@yahoo.com if you know of someone.

You might try Gus Fisher, he's on the M14 fourms. jmdavis may have his contact info.

Gus Fisher of "Gus's Garands" is the man you are looking for. He is at most of the Richmond Area Gun Shows and will do a rifle check there (including minor repairs) for something like $30. Gus is a retired Marine Master Gunnery Sgt. He learned his M1 and M14 skills working for the Marine Corps Rifle Team in the 1970's as a young Sgt.

Here you will find a post about Carlos N. Hathcock teaching Gus to zero a rifle.

You have to go to a gun show and talk to Gus, he can explain his procedures. But he is one of the best M14 smiths in the Country and local to Richmond.
