It seems that shipping isn't a big bargain though ... (this is from a two mat order):

must be pretty zip code specific, only $16 and change to here for same.  I guess they haven't figured out flat rate shipping?

I think they usually have an even better Black Friday price.

Has anyone ever asked Midway if they would waive shipping for members of Appleseed? From what I hear they are pretty supportive of Non-Profits.

Just curious.

Having ordered many times from Midway, Brownells, and other suppliers, I am convinced that Midway views shipping and handling as a core element of their profit margin. I am also disappointed with the quality of the Midway brand mats and range bags I bought. Stitching is coming undone on the vinyl pads of the mats, and on the velcro strips on the bag handles.

got four of the range mats, 2 each small and the large ones, no problems at all, have held up very well and have taken the abuse my family has put them through.  I did buy all of them on a black Friday sale the last couple of years or so.  Will see how the range bag holds up over the winter and spring, so far no complaints at all with them.  They do seem high(er) than others on shipping but I try to watch for sales or free shipping and utilize that as much as possible.  Also I usually get my order within two days if there is nothing back ordered and others seem to take 5-7 business days...........  so that is worth a little more to me.  That being said I still try very hard to buy everything at my local gun shop to help make sure they stay open but they dont/wont use Midway as a supplier and they don't have access to mats and such at a price I want to invest at.

They're real attractive on sale, but, yeah, mine has issues with the stitching.

The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed -- where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once.
