Man, if I actually could grow a beard or lose 75 pounds...

But let the record show my wedding kilt was Royal Stewart and we carried claymores (Culloden type, not "Braveheart" or "Front toward enemy" type) rather than SMLEs.  Which is probably just as well, as the security guard at the college tried to keep us out of the reception with the immortal words "you know, swords and alcohol don't mix".  Which led to irreverent inquiries about the number of rum-induced cutlass skirmishes plaguing the school that summer.  Thankfully the school's special event coordinator appeared and intervened (in favor o' the wee lads).   -:)

For those looking to emulate this snappy appearance I would note that the kilt should come to upper-to-mid knee.  One of my groomsmen wore it around mid thigh and I haven't been able to watch an Aerosmith video since.
