News:

We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

The Old Guide

Welcome Doctor Aims. He is a doctor and he aims. Rick shot Rifleman at Columbia in April and followed up with a Rifleman score at Monmouth where he took The Hat. At Monmouth last week he called the line. Welcome to the Maine Appleseed cadre. We have two more shooters who are interested in becoming Instructors. We had four new Riflemen at Monmouth last week.

This coming weekend is North Berwick, followed two weeks later by Freeman Township north of Skowhegan. Maine is cranking out the shoots. We need Maine IITs to support the lines of new shooters. Five IITs is better than having just two people on the line. The students do better and it builds their confidence, not to say that somebody gets a chance to sit long enough to score targets.

North Berwick is a long term established club much like Columbia and Monmouth. We can camp on site. Freeman Township is a gravel pit with a porta-potty rented for the weekend. We are on our own for food and water. Camping is allowed on site. Time to step up and out from your home ranges. The Appleseed Trail is long and memorable.
Our history is not a list of dates and places. It is a dynamic adventure of freedom and individual courage.
