Looks great!

(I've nothing further to nitpick)

Something that may have been made clear earlier, but I missed:  Are these 'redcoat/greycoat' targets intended to replace the current-issue "Hits Count!" target, or are they simply a promotional tool, something to be added to our ever-growing tool box?

Come on.... I'm sure you can think of something. >:D

I believe just promotion.(I hope so anyway....Because the dimensions may be slightly off)

Last call for ammendments!

Here's the Final Redcoat Promotional Target.
All in favor; say: Aye
All opposed; say: Nay

If there are no other changes; I'll convert it to grey, and post Monday.

Ok; so I compared a printed copy to the standard redcoat.
I found the 100 yard target was about a half-inch too large; and the 200yd about a quarter-inch over.
I didn't really worry about it too much; then I realized:  bigger sillouette=more ink!
So I sized them closer; and of course a smidgeon of reformatting to accomodate for the new size.
I attatched it on the previous post.

AFTERMTH, any way you can come up with some standardized targets to be placed at 100 yards that simulate the 25 meter zeros for each common AS calibers?
One for .22
One for .223
One for .308

The ides is that we could put all targets at 100 yards depending on the shooters caliber for them all to able to verify BSZ.

Well, I'm sure there is a way....
But that does exceed my current knowledge as far as trajectories are concerned...
(Honestly; I haven't even set my own BSZ's yet)

While this is a great theory, all ammunition is not created equal, even among same caliber.  This is why you must create a 'dope' book for different ammunition for your rifle.

For instance, I know that my hand loads for 7.62x39 impact 2.5" high at 100yds using my 25m zero.  Golden Tiger @ 1.75", Wolf Black Box @ 2.25"

Now, if everyone that had an AR was using the same barrel length, twist rate, etc. and were also using the exact same ammunition, then it would be possible;  with the varieties of ammunition, coupled with the varieties of barrel configurations, it would be nigh on impossible to make a one-size-fits-all target.  I think the same goes for the rest of the rifles we typically see.

Old Glory!

:sos:Is there a target download scaled for 200 yards?   :)

Unfortunately, I haven't come accrosss any scaled for 200...
You could take the Stage 1 target on an AQT and have it blown up 100%.
That should double the size and simulate the 400yd target at 200yds..

Here are a few I call AQT singles. I pasted them together and scanned them.

They will each print on an 11 X 17 sheet of paper.

Here are the ones I found on reddit.

This is a 4 page file that prints on 8.5 X 11 paper

My two latest efforts. Please excuse the crudeness. I made the cuts by hand for the stencil and then filled in the area, again by hand.

For the first target, these are just the V rings from the 11X17 AQT.

The second is the 5 or 10 point area from the 11X17 AQT.

I have heard the adage: aim small, miss small.

For my personal scoring use, I traced the scoring zones from the AQT on an 11X17 piece of clear plastic with a fine Sharpie. My idea is that when I use the V ring or the 5 and 10 point targets, I can overlay the plastic to see where the shots fall and have the ability to score the targets just like they are the full AQT.

I have a couple air rifles that use 10 round magazines.
I am going to use these at 12.5 meters or 42 feet as practice with my steady hold factors.
These squares are 1/2 inch so they should be about 4 MOA
Nice alternative to heading to the range to shoot. Should be a little less expensive too.

If I can print them, they are going to get hosed up a 25 yards.
You should eligible for some kind of award for saving paper!

Tell us about your air rifles please. Rifle knowledge bank would be a good place to start a new thread on the subject.

Here is an AQT scaled at 50% so it will be usable in my backyard "Appleseed" 12.5 meter or 41 foot range.

I will do my best to post something in the rifle knowledge bank for my air rifles.
They are PCP (Precompressed air) so one needs a High Pressure Air (HPA) compressor or a hand pump. It is a little expensive to get into it with the compressor but at my age, the hand pump is murder.
