Great event!

After a couple of months of sparse attendance (this ammo thing is getting ridiculous) a dedicated group of 13 Americans showed up to learn the history and get some top-notch marksmanship training.

Weather was pretty unpleasant...hot and muggy, but it didn't slow anyone down. A rifleman persists.

Speaking of riflemen, we have three new ones to add to the ranks. Congratulations to Jesse, Price and Andrew who all earned a patch after a lot of hard work and plenty of sweat (hot and muggy!). Several others were "knocking on the door" with scores in the 180-200 range. Nice!

Sutton, brought by his dad, hadn't ever shot a rifle before and  learned a lot. Had a fantastic attitude and was climbing in AQT scores steadily over the weekend. Hope to see him again and can't wait to hand him his patch. It'll come!

Also had a couple of service members from the San Antonio area who made the drive to come to an Appleseed. Good to have them there, but unfortunately, duty called and they could only stay for Saturday.

Special thanks to Guy who managed to score an extra box of .22 for those that ran out where I haven't been able to find any. It was handy!

And as always thanks to my fellow instructor didactic for backing me up!
