We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

4 shooters both days aged 8 to 40.  Had 4 rain squalls which delayed us about 45 minutes, but we persevered!  Range personnel are very supportive and welcoming to Appleseeders.
No new riflemen, but Kevin (13) shot a 195!  I think if they had not had to leave early on Sunday that we would have had at least one new Rifleman.
Carson our youngest shooter (8) did admirably.  At his request, we repeated the Memorial Volley on Sunday.  That was a great thought.  Youth and adult alike were pleased when they compared their first targets to those at the end of Sunday.  Shooters quickly got sighted in and then we concentrated on AQTs.  In all 350 rounds were fired.
Rifles: all 10/22s, 2 scoped, 1 open, except for one Marlin 60, which had stock open sights. Shooters were achieving good groups, but attempts to adjust those and one stock Ruger were so frustrating that shooters borrowed 10/22s with tech-sights.  Immediate drastic improvement!
Shooters were very enthusiastic and open to instruction.  All improved greatly and are on the way to making Rifleman.  They all seemed to enjoy the  History and the weekend in general, and it was certainly a pleasure for Wholigan and myself to instruct folks with such great attitude.
