YAHOO!!! ^:)^ I have in my possession a Resolution from the Alabama State Senate. 

"Be it resolved by the Senate of the Legislature of Alabama that April 19, is hereby designated Patriot's Day in Alabama, in perpetuity, the month of April is designated Patriot's month in Alabama, in perpetuity, and all citizens of the state are urged to take cognizance of this event and participate fittingly in its observance."

Our State Senate informed me it was too late this session to introduce anything new but they'd take it up next year. Great for you getting it done!
