Firearms regulations will have a direct and immediate impact for Project Appleseed.  Here is an article describing how the question of gun regulation is dividing current candidates for the Congressional seat vacated by Jessie Jackson, Jr.  If you are an Illinois resident you are encouraged to make yourself familiar with the stance of all candidates, and perhaps even to attend a public forum like the one referenced in the article, to determine the candidate that best represents your views.
