It is my honor to announce that having successfully completed all required training and successfully demonstrating the required skills that

Sharpeyedfirechild

has been promoted to Shoot Boss having earned her Green Hat. O0

The first thing that you notice when you meet her is that her forum name is well chosen. You can see the intensity and passion in her eyes. You can see that she gets what Appleseed Project is about. And that she is dedicated to honoring those who sacrificed so much for us by her contributions to the Appleseed Project.

This is a significant milestone on the Appleseed Trail that deserves special recognition for a young woman who knows what she is about.

You meet the best people on the Appleseed trail.

A little background.

Graduated High School at 16.
Graduated College at 20.
Utah's first female Redhat Instructor at 21.
Now Utah's first female Shoot Boss.

In the past year she has worked 10 events in Utah, Nevada, California and Idaho.

She is also a proud member of Nevada's First Family of Appleseed Instructors. Daughter of  RangeRat (GH) and Snipercat (RH).  Sister of Treebleshooter (GH) and Persistent_1 (OH). If you are counting that's three Shoot Bosses, One instructor and one Instructor in Training in one family! :) :) :) :) :)

Her final SBIT assignment was to lead Nevada's second largest Appleseed event in the last two years. She ran a smooth, safe and professional event that was enjoyed by all.

Let's all welcome her into the Shoot Boss ranks!

One Man awake, Awakens another. The second awakens  His next-door brother.
The three awake can rouse a town. By turning the whole place upside down.

The many awake can make such a fuss. It finally awakens the rest of us.

Criticism is the only known antidote to error.  David Brin

What a nation has done, a nation can aspire to.
Dr. Jerry Pournelle

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck."

Who would've thought such a mild mannered child would end up this way?   :slap:
