We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Let's start with a big THANK YOU to the Summit Township Sportsman Club for hosting their first Project Appleseed event.  And another thank you to the Club volunteers who staffed the concession tent and kept us well fed and hydrated all weekend.  Attendance was good, and when word of this great facility gets out, it will be even better for the next Appleseed.

We had great weather, a great range, and Marksmanship and Heritage.  What better way to spend the weekend?  Evidently, twenty-one patriotic Americans agreed, and they made the countryside ring with the sound of LIBERTY!

Chuck capitalized on the Marksmanship instruction, taking his Rifleman patch with a score of 223.  Several other students showed good improvement as the weekend rolled on to the sound of rim fire "musketry", occasionally punctuated by the authoritative bark of larger calibers.

Of all the youth who came and went during the weekend, only May, Christina, and Zach stayed with us from beginning to end, earning the Will Diamond patch for their persistence.
