Okay folks, here's the schedule for the remainder of Appleseed events in Maine for 2012.

September 8-9, N.Berwick. There are some spots available. Only 20 miles from NH.

October 6-7, Freeman Township, north of Farmington, Me. Up in the mountains, might have a few leaf peepers to deal with!

October 13-14, Columbia. It should be a nice time of the year to take in downeast, no tourists and no bugs!

December 8-9, Monmouth. Very nice facility, covered, camping on site for those who want to.

If there are any questions for any of the above shoots post them here or send me a PM.

Maine in the Fall !!!

And then October on.

Anything with distance? How about some snow?

TOMINCT

Glad you asked! Columbia has 200 yards for a KD segment. It has been utilized for the CF shooters while the main
range gets set up for a 100 yard 22lr KD shoot.

We've been looking for a space for an actual KD day but so far none have materialized.

As for snow you'll have to talk to the Big Guy for some help, my snow making abilities are limited!

The Old Guide

Where are you from, mj52? Columbia will have foliage for the trip to and from.
Our history is not a list of dates and places. It is a dynamic adventure of freedom and individual courage.

The last shoot of the year is scheduled for December 8-9 at Monmouth. Nice range, easy to get to from I95, about 30 miles south of Augusta.

The range is covered so the weather, if there is some, won't be a major issue.

Okay, things are moving on this shoot quite well, with a BSA troop potentially coming on board as walk ons. Anyone that has an interest in attending try to pre register or let us know here.

As with weather in New England it can be reasonably good or it could be a Winterseed, time will tell.
