Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots

Sacramento in the summer...best thing to say is...it was HOT!!!

Saturday was 102 and Sunday was 104.

We put shade canopies on the firing line as well as behind the line to keep shooters as cool as possible.  Many thanks to those who brought out water jugs and ice.

8 Americans came out to learn some marksmanship and some History.

After the morning Red Coats we began the fire hose of information and group sizes began to shrink almost immediately, showing that these folks knew what they were about.

We broke for lunch and shared the Strikes.

Back to the line for some more instruction and then a couple AQT's.  The heat took it's toll, no riflemen on Saturday, though Aram came close with a  207....we looked hard for any points missed...unfortunately we weren't able to find any cause I think Aram wouldn't have minded a bottle of water over the head for a 210...   :)

Ended Saturday with the red coat and cleaned up.

Sunday, saw a return everyone except Aram and his son, so we got to work with the reviews.  Broke for lunch and some more History stories then back to work.

Early AQT's saw some promising scores, John posted a nice 205, but the heat began to get us all even with frequent breaks in the shade for hydration and snacks.  A final Red Coat and clean up ended another wonderful Sacramento Appleseed.

Hope you all come back out soon.

Big Thanks to my instructors, Lagboy, Graceful22Gal, Dani'O, HeavyTank, Yayamama, Neve.  You were, as always, AWESOME!   ^:)^
