Small but productive AS with only 1 prereg but two walk ons Sunday.
Weather milder than anticipated.
Miller did an excellent job running the line and working with Kyle on Saturday, and then breaking from the normal routine to instruct/seventh step Joe and Tanner, who came by the rifle range after shooting clay in the morning on Sunday.  Hope to see them back in Sept.
Congratulations to Miller on promotion to full Instructor.

Heh...
I can't wait for the September shoot down there.
I'm sure Joe and Tanner will be back.
And judging by the progress Joe made in just a few hours and Tanner taking the 300 yard bell on his Redcoat I feel confident predicting they could both make Rifleman with a full weekend of instruction.

And hustling to get as much of the course of instruction as possible into just a few hours was a challenge that will serve me well I think.
4 Safety Rules
Safe Rifle
Steady Hold Factors for all three positions with demonstration
Six Steps to Firing the Shot
IMC
And all 3 Strikes (admittedly highly condensed, but don't think I missed anything important)
Forget drinking from the firehose.
Those boys were on the receiving end of a drop from the Hawaii Mars.
And they soaked it up admirably.
