What:
<Appleseed participants are taught fundamental marksmanship skills that will achieve accuracy up to 500 yards, with iron sights or scope and a commercial rifle, using a G.I sling and commercial ammunition>. <Participants shoot at scaled targets at 25 yard distances which simulates shooting targets at 100 to 400 yards. Instructors focus on rifle handling and line safety procedures while teaching fundamental skills to shoot accurately from a prone, standing, or seated position>.
Benefits:
<Earn the prestigious Rifleman patch by achieving a score of 210 or better during the Army Qualification Test (AQT) portion of the Appleseed clinic>.
