A great weekend at Fredericksburg.  17 participants showed up Sat. and 9 on Sun.  We had two past riflemen return.  One brought a daughter, the other brought an 18" M1A wanting to qualify with it.  482 rounds later he was getting close.  Overall we saw significant improvement in all shooters.

Thank you Tonya, Rodger, Jerry and Mark for working this shoot.  Also a big Thank You to Tonya and Rodger for Putting on a blue hat, duties they have already been doing for a year and a half.

After four ASs David Myers finally put it together with a 210, which earned him a little water on the head.  Stargnoc David.

Until next time....

Good shoot Tommy.

Best of regards to Two Wolves and Tanya. People like that make me proud to be a Texan.

And congratulations to David for getting the patch. Good going.

Two Wolves

It was a pleasure to see old friends and make new ones this weekend.  8) It was hot and dry, but that didn't stop this group of fine Americans from throwing lead down range.  :~ All received excellent instruction from Tommy. Mark Church (a future red hat) called the line both days and did a great job!  ~~:)  The shooters received additional help from our resident twinkle toes  ..:.. , a.k.a. Jerry. Riflemen know that persistence pays off, and our newest rifleman, David Myers exhibited great persistence   :wb: toward his goal of becoming a rifleman. Four shoots and lots of practice and voila, a Rifleman. Congratulations David. Since he eked out a 210 be sure to see the bath he took. With a smile!  ^:)^ I look forward to seeing all of you again in the near future. God Bless, Regards, Two Wolves.
A moral compass provides a basis for making decisions; an action is good or bad, right or wrong when viewed in the light of the individual's moral bearing. If no moral compass exists for the individual, then decisions and actions are made on the basis of purely subjective thoughts. This leads to "If it makes me happy, or makes me feel good, or if it's something I simply want to do, then it is right and good."

Sounds like it was "A great weekend at Fredericksburg."

We appreciate Tonya, Rodger, Jerry and Mark.  Thank you T&M for wearing that Blue Hat.  Tonya is always out there promoting.  And, all the behind the scenes work you never see being done but, which must be done to make the event come off flawlessly ... that's ROGER ... Target Line, Electric, Plumbing, Mowing, ... That's Roger.  Thanks again to all of you TRJM for the work you do in FBG to help save the good ship America.
Ya'll all are fortunate to have Tommy close enough to FBG to be a regular.  Thanks Tommy, for your part in making FBG the great venue that it is.

Great Pics, BTW, Roger.

Hopefully I get to go to the next one and I'm determined to qualify. I will try my best to bring some friends with me.  :)
