We're winding down the year for Appleseed in Illinois.

We still have 12 more shoots on the boards.  Please check out the schedule and get yourself scheduled if you can instruct at one (or more) of these shoots.  Additionally, if everyone printed out a few flyers and passed them out in their areas for the shoots, it would help.  Also, going on shooting friendly websites and promoting the shoots goes a long way, like rimfire central and AR-15.com, places like that.

Don't forget the Southern Illinois Hunting and Fishing Days Show at the John A. Logan College this weekend, Sept. 24-25.  This is the biggest family type sport show in Southern Illinois with average attendance over 25,000.  This is a great place to help grow Appleseed in Southern Illinois.

Plenty of Ammo and I did the show last year and it is really a great place to promote Appleseed.  Southern Illinois is prime territory for places to shoot and good folks wanting to learn rifle marksmanship.

We could use a couple of Appleseeders that like to do sport shows.  We can even train you to give a quick 15 second talk to get those good Southern Illinois folks just begging to sign up for an Appleseed Shoot.
