AAR:  August 20-21st.
           Raahagues, Corona, CA

Great weather, nice and cool for an Inland Empire summer, excellent group of Shooters and enough room to stretch and spread out.

Saturday morning Our Appleseed started with 23 Shooters, almost half were from the Boy Scouts, Most had no experience with rifles and none had formal training. What a group, Personally working with Scouts is a real treat, the Scout leaders know their troop and work well with the Kids in uniform. They are also a volunteer organization so their commitment comes from their heart, they work hard to see their young Americans succeed.

The other half of our group (soon to be team as the day progresses) had a variety of rifle experience from "first time shooting" to "had one in my hand from the age of 12". All on the line had the same common goal of improving their skills, all worked hard to achieve the 210 or better,,
HUZZAH to all of you !!

The morning began with fundamentals, and sighting, it is nice to have fast studies on the line, when you hear " more squares !!" you know the team is working on their sights.

Lunch time (Story time), passed way to fast, seems We could talk about history all day but We needed to get the Shooters back to the line for some AQT's.

We ran the AQT's until the last Red Coat, tired and sore the Team gave an impressive display of their improvement on their road to Rifleman.

Sunday With 22 on the line and the return of the Boy Scouts We were off to a good start. It is always nice to see a returning family, welcome back Caun, Dani and Mathew yes it can be a fun family adventure, and what better place to meet more like minded people. After sighting in and a recap of Saturday We were back at the AQT's. Lunch time, time for Dangerous old Men and stories of hero's of the green. The last Red Coat of the day always comes way too fast. Here are the scores:
