It has been a year since the Fort Drum shoot and I still carry with me the techniques that I was taught during the 3 days that I was there and continue to teach. Even though I have left the military I continue to teach prospective rifleman the fundamentals and if they want to listen a little history. It was a great shoot by a outstanding group of instructors. Even though my uniform hangs in my closet now there is still a rifleman patch in my left breast pocket.

Heads up all, we might be doing this in the future with Vermont's 86th IBCT, at Ethan Allen Firing Range. 2 units are already interested.
They have men amongst them who know very well what they are about, having been employed as Rangers against the Indians and Canadians and this country being much covered with wood, and hilly, is very advantageous for their method of fighting. . . . ".  Lord Percy
