A great event at the Kentucky Regulators Gun Club.

The shooters did an excellent job- with 2 shooters coming back to shoot rifleman again! Great job JP and Jim. ^:)^

We also found a woman who knows very well what she is about by putting, if I remember correctly, a 226 score together with a nearly perfect 4th stage.   :---

Dond- Shoot Boss and Mrs. Dond made it an enjoyable weekend for all of us. Can't thank you enough for the hospitality and thorough instruction.

Add the history and instruction from Calfret and wow, what a weekend.

All shooters did a great job with safety and focus, a great group of people to spend a weekend with. Hope to see you all again. Pictures up soon.

Great job everyone! Here are some pictures.

Third strike and some dangerous old men at lunch. Also, just had to post a few pictures of the range.

Indeed it was a great weekend! mtbrass also gave a fine history presentation. And both he and calfret are to be commended for their excellent instruction.

And the shooters are also to be commended. They were most attentive and soaked up the information. This resulted in significant improvement in shooting ability, as well as in a demonstrated understanding of IMC and KD trajectories on Sunday.

After a  presentation of KD work Sunday afternoon, the remaining shooters were taken to the club's rifle range where they were able to confirm the lessons learned, out to 300 yards.

This was the first Appleseed for four of the shooters and one expressly mentioned history as a drawing point. They all expressed strong intentions of returning. One even arrived at the range early Sunday morning and practiced two hours before anyone else arrived. He was shooting fairly well, but not up to Rifleman standards. We finally discovered that his main problem was his progressive bifocal eyeglasses. But by this time he was too tired to continue. However, he is determined to resolve the problem and return to accomplish his goal.

Another shooter volunteered to do the 7th step at his large company, which operates in several states, by spreading the word throughout his office, and by having information published in the company's glossy newsletter.

Nine shooters were present Saturday and six returned on Sunday.  And as indicated previously, three of these attained Riflemen status. On top of this, one of the repeat Riflemen, JP, and our new lady Rifleman, eagerly accepted the Orange Hat.

Again, what a great weekend this was.  ^:)^

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add "within the limits of the law" because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.  Thomas Jefferson

I must say that this was a truly enjoyable weekend.  There was no argument or fuss, and no complaints from the shooters at all.  The groups of EVERY shooter were the tightest I have ever seen that early on Saturday.  DonD is to be commended on his style of instruction as it obviously works very well.  The shooters had great attitudes and refused to give up.  I had a wonderful time and I think that everyone else did as well.

Indeed it was a great weekend!  As expected, Leslie and I met some great people and made new friends.

As stated previously, Leslie and I accepted our orange hats and look even more forward to helping out at the next Appleseed.

Thanks DonD, Calfret, and MTBrass for all you did this weekend.
