Yesterday the Illinois State Rifle Association and the NRA filed suit against the laws prohibiting open carry of handguns.

Just my $.02, but obviously AS is about supporting our 2nd Amendment Rights.  That is our heritage!  It then follows that we should all support the efforts of the ISRA and the NRA to protect our rights.  Also recognize that the ISRA and the NRA are not exclusive to any political party, nor are we endorsing any party by supporting these groups. 

I've made donations to the ISRA lately, and frequently, but I'll make another to help with this lawsuit.  Go git 'em!  ^:)^

Encouraging participation in pro-Bill of Rights organizations is specifically allowed under the AS Instructor Manual.  I wish the best for our Illini and Cheesehead cousins this legislative season.

Everyone keep in mind that although this is against Illinois, it is in Federal Court, most likely it will end up in the Supreme Court and become the law of the land. That makes it EVERYONES COURT CASE.

The Second Amendment Foundation has also filed a suit.
