What an awesome weekend!  :---

Thanks again to all who came out  O0 We had 5 new rifleman and then Barry, our range contact, decided to take up the orange hat after the day was done.  >:D We got to shoot at 25M and 300YD, what a weekend. It has been a long time since I have had a group of shooters came and truly soaked up as much of the firehose of information as possible. Scores over 210 all weekend and a whole lot of scores in the 180-209 range. A rifleman persists and AQT after AQT we had shooters improving and learning.

A thanks goes out to Unbridled_Liberty our applecore volunteer  ^:)^ Sir I very much appreciate all you did this weekend from registration, to scoring targets, you certianly make a shoot boss'es life easier. Andre, we have got to get you into a red hat sir, and your Sammuel Whittemore was great. Dad4Boys sir I am glad to have you on the line any day, and a big Huzzza for calling the line all day Sunday during the grind. Slim, well I don't know what one can say about Slim   ;) you bring an energy to every shoot you attend that can not be matched.

Barry you are the man! You got us access to the range at Crittenden and set us up with the Boy Scouts cooking. Thanks again and again, I am so glad to see you under an Orange Hat. To the Scouts who came out and cooked for a very hungry shoot boss, oh and everyone else too, I say thank you again.

What an awesome group of shooters this weekend and most 1st time Appleseeders at that! It is the students that make the weekend and all of you made it a great weekend. From our active duty and veterans to our youngest shooters, and don't forget the 912ers who showed up  :cool2: We even had a man on the line who had never shot a rifle before Saturday. He went from asking how to line up a set of peep sights, to making consistent hits, way to go Russ!

There is so much good in this weekend I can't fit it all here so everyone else feel free to throw in your .02 and don't forget the pics or it didn't happen  :P

:sos:I attended the shoot in Crittenden this weekend, my name is James Philpot (or Leonard), I want to get the Riffleman Opportunity Card.  Can you tell me who to send the money to? :sos:

Thanks for the help.

Not sure if you need this info or not, but the Range Boss was Dry Fire.

Hi gUS MCoy.

I'm glad you were able to attend the event in KY and for your interest in the Rifleman Opportunity Card.  You may purchase a RWVA membership on-line using this link:
http://www.eventbrite.com/event/1163166061

I assume DryFire gave you the sticker.  Once you receive your membership card in the mail just place your sticker on the back of the card.  From then on you may sign up under the FREE category on Eventbrite for each event you wish to attend until such time as you earn your Rifleman's Badge.

If you want to attend another event prior to receiving your membership card just bring a copy of your RWVA membership on-line purchase along with the sticker.  That will suffice as proof you're able to attend the event free.

Once you receive your card don't forget to bring it with you otherwise you'll be expected to pay full price to attend the event.

A great big BRAVO ZULU to DryFire!  It was a pleasure watching and learning from you.  The rest of the team; Andre, Dad4Boys and Slim were all excellent too.  Looking forward to working with you all again.  It was very exciting to see shooters absorbing info like sponges, and watching as they start to get it.  All I had was my cell phone and this is the only picture I got:

Slim in the foreground working on NPOA with my son Garrett (the second, but not the last Rifleman on our block!), DryFire down in the mud with a student and Andre in the back working with another.  Dad4Boys was behind me keeping a watchful eye on the line.  "GOOD STUFF" as DryFire would say!    O0

TruTenacity:  No I did not receive a "sticker".  I can buy the membership, but what about the sticker?  How can I get this? :wb:

Huzzah!

Yet another weekend of proof as to why it's called the Kentucky Rifle! Great shooters, great weather (huzzah?) and a great time being back out on the trail. I look forward to my next event in the Bluegrass State.

Hey, I'm an Heritage and Marksmanship Instructor, not a computer technician.

They were right side up when I posted them. I have no idea what happened.  :sos:

:~ Dryfire and the gang just want to thank you again for the time you gave us and the others who have crossed your path. The instruction was top notch, reminded me of USMC boot camp marksmanship training minus the yelling and pushups ;). It was a great time! Dad4boys thanks again for sharing your knowledge and sweet M1. I did get the M1a straightened out. Grease on the sear is a bad thing. ::). Hope to cross paths with you again before I go but if not you can count on it when I get back.  Slim, the pictures are fine, a little sideways, but fine!  :D

It's a new phone. I don't know all the tricks just yet. Where's a teenager when you need one?

*I just remembered programming my gradma's VCR. (And all you youngins just said, "What's a VCR?" HA!)
