Hi all,
Was a pleasure to work this event-and see many of ya's there.
Good to see Buzzworth, Spartan and many return and returning Appleseeders there who stopped by to say hello.
The table is rented by Saraspa Rod and Gun Club and shares with Appleseed. They believe and support our Project. www.sarasparodandgun.org
The Crew:
Friday: Ranges Chief Range Safety Officer, the Clubs Treasurer, and myself
Saturday: Ranges Treasurer, Dave from the Clubs Board of Directors (and a Rifleman), Jamie a future Appleseeder, Sureshot and myself.
Sunday: Ranges Chief RSO, Dakota30 and myself.

The good and bad:
Saturday attendance was about 2000 and busy speaking Appleseed, Sunday was less but engaged several passerbys.
Saturday with crowd was tough to get out in front of table, Sunday spent most of time in front of table engaging show goers. Set up was Clubs Banner on one side and Appleseed Banner on other side of PVC frame 6 feet over table. US Flag Pole mounted on table straight up, new poster of AR Girl laminated, 10/22 LTR, Clubs hand outs, and handouts from AS which consisted of Swat article, 10 and 15 yard free targets, what to bring to Appleseed handout, Nationals and Josey Wales tri-folds, and stapled together collated this years local shoots at Hudson Falls, Lake George, Indian Lake and Saratoga. As the table is shared, limited on amount of AS displays, BUT what we have is simple, to the point and effective. The investment -- time will tell. Also, again did hear several times "I heard you let us use yours guns and we bring ammo."
Some of the other comments:
Was hoping you were going to be here, I read Fred's Articles in SGN's, A friend told me all about you guys where's the next shoot, (School Teacher) I'm bringing these handouts to my students.
One participant brought an AS article from the Albany Times Union paper in February to show us.
My thoughts on the weekend for AS -  O0 O0 two thumbs up.
All who helped, thank you

You guys had a great operation going there and it was impressive to observe you give your sales pitch on Applessed,,,your tactics, techniques and procedures made an impressive example and excellent learning tool for my own future use.  I especially loved the historic Cannon that you were using to entice additional folks over to your table with:))  HooaH

The Cannon is a Double Top Secret Prop, just in from firing it tonight.
Going to use it at Saratoga for the opening Volley or if we can get our reanactor there again, will demo it with him, and close Sunday with Amazing Grace bagpiped and Taps bugled.
Did it last year with SB Buzzworth. Was a nice touch to this historic weekend.

The gun show in Saratoga this past weekend, that I attended, was my FIRST EVER gun show!!!!!!!  ^:)^  Thank you to Mark and his RSO for allowing me to come and join them at the Saraspa Rod & Gun/Appleseed table. It was very exciting to be able to do some 7th stepping at such an event. I hope it pays off in getting more people to come to an Appleseed weekend, and even getting more people on the website to read and understand what Appleseed is all about!  Was a great experience, and that might've been the first show, but it definitely wont be the last!

It was a load of fun working the show with Stick Mark on Saturday, thanks for the coffee & hardroll;you pulled me through!. I've not run across another person who stumps harder for the Appleseed Project with more conviction than he does. His enthusiasm is contagious; it's a terrific program. This helps make it easier to campaign for something when you believe it is worthy. I'm hoping to score another Rifleman and gain an Orange Hat this Spring, unless I can convince wifey to attend in my place.

As far as the cannon... who else! Should I scare up with a copy of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture to bring?  **)
