I got this invite via email
"RWVA invites you to Colebrook, CT Appleseed - Feb 26-27, 2011 (Feb 26, 2011)
...
"
but I can't find it on the Master Appleseed Map (link from the main website).

Am I missing something?

No, you aren't missing anything. That map hasn't been updated since 12/10 it looks like.

Do you need information on the event itself or its location? If so, more information can be found here: http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=19594.0. And you can register online for the event here: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/1160132989.

Please feel free to post any other questions you may have if you need more help.

Thanks,

No ... I just thought people would not be able to find the event and register if they searched from the main web site.
Perhaps the main map and event list could be updated weekly... but I guess you'd need to talk to HQ about that. :sos:

It looks like the map will not be updated without a volunteer to keep it updated. If anyone wants to take that on, let us know.

That needs fixing. Where did you find the link from the main web site to the Master Appleseed Map?

fprintf

http://www.appleseedinfo.org/search-states.html is supposed to be the place to find all the shoots, this is what I can find links off the main site.  The Google Maps version seems like it hasn't been updated, and may even be outdated/replaced by the prior link.

However if the Google Maps have not been discontinued, I can volunteer to help keep it up to date. I have to imagine, though, that the Google Maps link has intentionally been deprecated in favor of the other one, so it is important to find how the Google Maps are being linked to so we can redirect folks to the right map (whichever one it is).
