Once again web surfing has proven fruitful.  These are links to a site called Instructables which is a do it yourselfer's paradise for a lot of things.  Make Magazine also has a large web presence, but what they both have in common is low tech, low drag elegant solutions for the disabled, that you can make yourself!  If you stumble across a good site, please post it here.
