Alright folks.  Brickhouse and I talked to a bunch of IDPA shooters at a match at the Mason-Dixon Rifle Club.  Last night, I spent two hours on the phone with their President.  Today, he announced that there WILL be an Appleseed next year at MDRC.  Nearly a majority of their board shoots IDPA, and I watched their responses to this announcement.  It's going to happen.  I'll continue to work with their President and board, and we'll start nailing down specifics soon.

Also, this, combined with the Savage Arms event at PCGC has brought me to a very serious conclusion about 7th stepping in WV.  At the end of my day at MDRC, I shared my conclusion with their President.  He all but laughed at me, as in, "you're just now figuring this out?"

Nice job to both of you for making the effort to establish a presence for AS in northern WV...sounds very promising  O0

Keep us posted siglite; maybe you can pass along some specifics on this particular range as they become available.

It's a nice facility.  Multiple handgun ranges, and I believe a 200yd rifle range.  Really accessible, not far out of town.  I'll update with more information once I have a range application filled out and signed.  It'll take a little while.  They do require board approval and scheduling.

But like I say, this is a nice facility, and we have significant board buy-in to the program.  It'll cover the last of our three major population centers, and allow for extensive recruiting on and around the WVU campus.
