Folks,

I just got my 'American Hunter' magazine today and there is an article called 'Hitting the Mark' that talks about rifle marksmanship from field positions.  Sound familiar?  Anyway, I sent the following as a letter to the editor.  I don't think it would hurt if we all dropped them a line.

Folks,

I greatly enjoyed your article on rifle marksmanship.  Although time and money preclude me from attending one of the national schools, I was able to get some great instruction at an Appleseed Project weekend clinic.  Although an expert rifleman when I was in the army, I learned more in two days than the entire ten years I was in and my sons (15 and 10) and I all received our coveted 'Rifleman's Patch'.  Proper field positions, use of the sling and most important, NPOA (natural point of aim) were taught.  There was an added bonus of learning some little known American history!  20,000 people will attend one of a thousand Appleseeds this year and there is always one nearby.  http://www.appleseedinfo.org

Respectfully,
