All instructors were thankfull for the opportunity to instruct some great Americans on marksmanship and history.  This after action report is a place for the participants to voice their thoughts on the shoot.  As soon as I find my camera, I will be placing lots of photos on this page.  We had 38 shooters on Saturday and 31 on Sunday including 6 youths!  A new record for SC   We awarded 9! Rifleman Patches to some very deserving Riflemen.  Please don't hesitate to add your thoughts here.

Dwayne,

     A hearty thanks to you, the range crew, and Mid-Carolina Rifle Club. The instruction was top notch!! I have been a casual rifle shooter for many years and I learned more in two days than I thought possible. The history lessons were inspiring. The range discipline was excellent. I can't say enough good things about my 1st Appleseed. I'll be back. Now I have to finish cleaning my rifle and pass the word.

What a fantastic weekend!! Big Kudos to DwayneH on such a well-run weekend. I'm glad I could be a part of it.

Man it looks like ya'll had a grand ole time in SC. Nice looking range. I am sorry I missed it and missed seeing you guys again, but we were having our own party in Toccoa. 

You know if Dwayne, Mike & Matt are all there it's gonna be a good time.

Hey Spanner - missed seeing you this time! Thanks to your great instruction in October along with Duane, Guy and the others, we practiced our techniques a bit during the winter months and headed over for our 2nd Appleseed. The weather was perfect. Duane, Matt and Karl were excellent instructors on our line (we actually used 2 ranges because of the increased numbers of attendees!) Larry & I both improved our groups and Larry achieved Rifleman scores TWICE on Saturday. 
Well, I had my work cut out for me, so on Sunday - with perseverance, determination, concentration and much encouragement, I was able to clear a Red Coat and then score Rifleman on the 2nd AQT. Man, it's rewarding to see it all come together!!
We met a lot of great folks and really appreciate all the time and energy spent by the instructors to put together such a fantastic event. And Thanks to Mid-Carolina Rifle Club for the use of their incredible facility. We will keep spreading the word!!

Congrats to Larry and Karen and all the other Riflemen. Perfect weather, and getting off the couch with a great bunch of Americans what could be better!
It seems I need to apply some of the steady hold factors to my photography, these were the ones that came out OK. Sorry if I missed anybody.
