What is the burn rate of this new powder compared to 4895? Hear lots of good things about it mostly from benchrest shooters. Will it work in my gas operated rifles?  Wolfman

Wolfman,

I don't know the burn rate, but I have heard that the accuracy of it is "one minute of high tension wire" at 400 yards **)

Seriously though, all of my books are too old to list it. I hope that you're doing well.

It was too easy cutting the wire with a 30 cal. Want to do it again with a .22.  Wolfman

I am answering my own question here, just found the data on the IMR websight. The burn rate is between AA2460 and H4895 which means it will work in gas guns like Garand and M1A.
