A great shoot. Due to the attentiveness of the shooters we were able to go though all the instruction and drills quickly and review each point of instruction several times.
This is an awesome location for Appleseed. The range is very cooperative and allows us to have the entire facility and clubhouse at our disposal.

IIT Genmain did a great job of calling the line.

Could not find another point to prevent a dousing, and I did look hard. Would not have wanted to miss this father/son moment anyways.

New Rifleman Mark Jr get to present Mark Sr with his patch.

Sunday afternoon we sighted in the centerfires and moved over to the 300 yard range. We missed you Don! Mark Jr was able to build a 2 moa group at 300 upper center of the 5 ring. Trigger leg out of position a bit. We went and broke out a rifle with a tad more recoil to demonstrate one of the reasons of that Steady hold factor.

To reinforce the need for a solid trigger leg position to help stabilize during recoil.

972 rounds per shooter went downrange over the two day.

I have to agree, great shoot. Weather wasn't to awfull bad, some rain, ended in the A.M.  My first time calling the line for both days. The attentiveness of the shooters was excellent. Scores consistently got better, two more riflemen scores for the shooters and for the appleseed.  All had a great time. B9 did an excellent job organizing the event. Looking forward to attending more appleseeds as an IIT and some day getting to shoot in one again.     O0
