No Guns, No safety, No freedom
KNOW Guns, KNOW Safety, KNOW FREEDOM

AK Panda

I think this was my favorite event so far! We had all great shooters who took what we had to offer and made it work!   O0

I have reached a new appreciation for "the grind" of AQT's on Sunday  :~ I had the pleasure of witnessing the improvement in EVERY shooter with each AQT. Several Riflemen scores were achieved and some orange hats were handed out. What a way to spend Battle of Bennington weekend!!!

I'm sure i'll see some of those faces on the Applessed Trail :)

AK Panda
Battle of Hubbardton

The Green Mountain Boys fought bravely.

The only battle fought in Vermont during the Revolution on July 7, 1777

Twiggman

There is nothing more satisfying than coaching a shooter through the event and watching them earn the RIFLEMAN patch. Having them each give me a personal thank you at the end of the weekend was the icing on the cake.

This was without a doubt the most rewarding Appleseed I've been a part of.  O0
You can defend yourself with a pistol.
You can defend your home with a shotgun,
but you'll need a RIFLE to defend your liberty.

Rifleman Mike

Doh!  ??? I kept looking at the wrong camera.

My second Appleseed in as many weeks.  :) Coming back refreshed after Colebrook to shoot on Sunday I made rifleman on my first AQT of the day and shot several more afterwards. Took an orange hat too, you guys got me hooked!

Buzzworth and Smithy, it was great to be under you tutelage again. Twiggman, Ninsho, DoesItComeInBlack, AK Panda, Maestro, R1sgx2 (thanks for the instruction manual), it was nice to meet all of you. I look forward to seeing all of you at future events. I didn't want to disrupt the event when I had to go but I should have stopped to say my thanks then and shake your hands.

What a great and diverse group of people.  O0 Men and women that spanned many years on the line together, learning and working towards a common goal. Congrats to all who attended. EVERYONE was working hard in that HEAT and you all deserve a round of applause for your perseverance. If you didn't make rifleman, keep at it, you are definitely on your way.  :~

Does anyone know if an IBC will be coming to Ct. I know of the one in Mass but am unsure about making that one right now. I also have several people that are interested in shooting an Appleseed and at least one that has done other instruction and would like to get involved as an instructor after shooting it. Maybe we can get enough together down here to do an IBC?

Oh yeah. It was HOT!

Mike

Nickle

Get to the IBC in Mass. There will be one in northeasatern PA soon as well.

It takes a Senior Instructor or Master Instructor to run an IBC.

We have 1 MI in VT (myself), 1 SI in NY/PA (kDan) and 1 SI in MA (crak). The next closest person is mid Ohio (Dinky Dao), then Virginia (VAshooter) after that.
They have men amongst them who know very well what they are about, having been employed as Rangers against the Indians and Canadians and this country being much covered with wood, and hilly, is very advantageous for their method of fighting. . . . ".  Lord Percy

Sounds like New Englanders to me.

R1SGx2

So much to learn, so little time.... Third time to a shoot in Bennington, and so much knowledge being shared by the Shoot Boss and Instucters, dedicated professionals. Enjoyed being a part of the team wearing an orange hat this time on Sunday. Can't wait until next season in Bennington, now that I got my feet wet. Triple thumbs up to you guys  O0 O0 O0

An even 210... Feels good!  Couldn't have done it without the help of ALL the instructors.  A special thanks to Smithy for beating on me all weekend and making me perform.  The guy was like my spotter, calling the shots and drilling me.  He never let up, so I had to qualify.  Also a big hell yeah to Twigg, the only guy with a confirmed kill all weekend.  Seriously though, ALL the instructors helped and I'm very grateful.  Thanks again.
