Picked up a USGI bolt for my M1A. Can anyone point me to someone in the Portland Vancouver area that can head space it for my rifle?

Thanks

Cliff

Be sure to find one that is experienced with M1A's.  Lots of horror stories over the years about standard gun shop smiths butchering up an M1A trying to "fix" it like the usually seen huntin' rifles.

I'm with you  - thanks.

Yup, almost ALL gunsmiths have no clue how to do this properly.

Better to spend the money and have it sent out, than to replace a receiver or barrel screwed up by a moron that wsa too dumb to know he was over his head.
They have men amongst them who know very well what they are about, having been employed as Rangers against the Indians and Canadians and this country being much covered with wood, and hilly, is very advantageous for their method of fighting. . . . ".  Lord Percy

Sounds like New Englanders to me.

Any recommendations?
