Special thanks to the range. United Sportsmen Inc. They have been absolutely great to us and we can't thank them enough for hosting Project Appleseed.

What a glorious weekend for America!

Weather was great! A little bit warm.

Great group. I believe we had 10 first time Appleseeders. A lot of learning, a lot of shooting, and a lot of improvements!

Thank you everyone for showing up for Liberty for our Patriots Day event.

Congratulations 3 new riflemen!
Skyler with a 211
Natalie scoring a 224
Matt with 212

Lots of sharpshooter scores.

Special thanks to the instructors, couldn't do it without you guys.

Congrats to Mike who cleared the red coat!
(I think he scored a couple of rifleman AQTs too but just never turned in his targets.)

Liberty Yo!

What a great weekend. Here's a shot of our newly minted Riflemen Natalie and Skyler with their SUPER cool April riflemen targets. They had amazing attitudes and perseverance. BOTH their first time at an Appleseed event. So great.

It was a pleasure and an honor to put in a little IIT time this weekend; I enjoyed being able to line boss for the first time (especially since I got to do it for "Parker's Revenge") as well as refine my David Lamson "Dangerous old men of Menotomy" short story.

The shooters were all very engaged and safe.
Many thanks to 3Huzzahs for hitting me up to help for the weekend, even though I was only able to assist Sunday.

Also got an opportunity to gain first hand experience about diagnosing ammunition changes and point of impact shift. While shooting my M1A, a perfect zero became exactly 1" higher when I went from CBC brass to HSM brass loaded with identical primers, powder/load, and projectiles. I
(Also learned that the M1A, while extremely fun to shoot, is too much for me to use in an AQT with an aging, arthritic shoulder.)
This personal experience will help me with future students.

Great working with you Tim! Your David Lamson talk was on point! Really well done and a perfect setup to my Mother Bathrick DOD talk.
Looking forward to more for the 2026 season.
