Many thanks to Palmetto Gun Club for hosting the FIRST ever RKD/KD event in South Carolina.

The day started cool and sunny. After a review of IMC, trajectory, and safety brief, 16 shooters took to the line.

We had three shooters hit Morgan's Shingle. HUZZAH to NeilR, Phil and Karl.

Lunch included a Centurion Cake for Upacreek for reaching her 100-shoot milestone. Thanks, DEH, for arranging the party and leading the singing of Happy Centurion's day to the tune of Happy Birthday.

The attendees shot two AQTs. HUZZAH to Sean for making rifleman for the first time with a score of 40. HUZZAH to TheIronMantis for scoring 42 at his first RKD.

This event was so much fun - thanks, Cleveland, DEH, and Palmetto Gun Club!  All 16 shooters knew how to shoot so we just fine tuned a little and Cleveland taught about shooting out to 200 yards.  There were an awful lot of high 30 scores.  So close! You guys will get it next time for sure.  It was nice to see so many of the SC Appleseed crew.  I can't wait to come back (not just because of the cake - but thanks a lot for that too).
