We enjoyed the beautiful weather as 10 ladies gathered at Anne Arundel Fishing and Game in Annapolis, MD for our annual Ladyseed. Many of them were new shooters and there to take in all that we had to offer. After getting settled in and trying their hand at the first redcoat, we dug into the instruction. They were excited to learn and it showed in their scores. Lunch, we heard the first strike. We managed to get one AQT in on Saturday, with Katie requalifying as rifleman with a score of 246!!, three more toeing the line, and our other shooters showing some promise. We ended with 2 cleared redcoats and the telling of the Immortal 400 story!!

On Sunday morning, we started the day with another cleared redcoat!! And, started on AQTs. At lunch, Phoebe told strikes 2 and 3. We watched the scores continue to rise with Mary increasing by 24 points, Rita up 79 points, Jen up 37 points, Megan 33 points, and Anne Marie up 38 points! Jenny, a brand new shooter, knocking on Rifleman's door with a 197, and Sophie with a 207. A remarkable shooting weekend for all with another new Rifleman, Maggie, with a 215. And ended the day with another cleared redcoat!

These ladies showed us what Appleseed is all about.

Congrats on an excellent event!  I LOVE the Ladyseeds!!!  Tell us about this GREEN hat!!  CONGRATS!!!

Thanks, Kim! I wanted to be able to run my own event, so voila! One green hat and lots of events getting there.  #) It was worth it and Ladyseeds are my favorite events!
