Butte MT AAR September 27,28 2005

We had another great shoot in Butte!  The weather was perfect, except a little sun in the eyes early in the morning.

Thanks again to the Butte Gun Club for hosting another great shoot for a total of three this year!

I would like to thank all the orange hats who came out to help, it gave us many hands for light work.

All the shooters were great and the kids, once again, kept things lively.  Yes, the Butte Happy Gate seems like it is going to stick!  Thanks Steve for elevating the quality of the Happy Gate.


We had an incident with a youth on Sunday who had an Out-of-Battery discharge which powder burned his wrist.  Mathias stuck in there and kept shooting and even got a 230 score shooting off a bag!

We made two new riflemen and requaled another.  Congratulations John, Kurt and Ronan!

Everyone be sure to follow the 1775 events that happened 250 years ago this year!  Next year should be extra fun!

I hope to see some of you for the December Winterseed in Missoula.
Be sure to do some dry practice at home, its a sure way to improve.
