What a great weekend for a center fire known distance event at the Fernan Rod and Gun Club in Coeur d'Alene, ID.  The conditions were perfect for the students to be able earn both their Morgan shingle patch and their Known Distance patch. 

The weekend was started with the Morgan's shingle cold bore shot.  Barry and Cal were off to a great start as they both connected with the shingle.  The rest of Saturday was sent with the shooting position reviews, getting the come up table generated and the completion of one AQT.  Sunday started with the cold bore shot and Chris, John L, and Andy connected with the shingle.

The remainder of Sunday was spent in the pursuit of the KD patch.  John K, Chris earned their first KD patch, and Barry showed us what he was made of by repeating his KD qualification.  Huzzah to all!

The only downside to the weekend were a few last minute cancellations.  This was the only KD event run in the NW this year and sold out fast.  The last minute cancellations prevented other shooters from attending the event.

Hope to see everyone at another AS event soon.
