I saw this picture tonight and remembered how IN cadre tells about the Headless Hessian, which is the origins behind the Headless Horseman tales. The Hessians were not admired over here due to their deeds, and the headless version was a colonial boogeyman.

Perhaps there is merit to a special shirt of "Shoot Straight, or the Headless Hessian will get you!" for a limited run in the fall of a year.

Personnaly I like it. It takes in the truth of the German mercenaries who fought here but also incorporates a great tale from American literature. Its ok to have a shirt with a humorest twist.
