It was fantastic to be back in Saratoga NY! As a history buff who spends most of the year in Michigan, it's inspiring to experience Project Appleseed in a region that played such a pivotal role in our country's struggle for liberty.  Special thanks to Dude for enriching all of us with the local history during Sunday's lunch break.

This was another sold out event at SaraSpa Rod and Gun Club, and we had a wonderful group of Americans join us on the range - a great mix of new faces and Appleseed regulars.

Vidal (both of you!), Jessica, James, and Nicholas - so glad you made the trip up from Brooklyn. It was rewarding to watch your progression over the weekend. Getting comfortable with your equipment is half the battle initially, but you all did great and I hope you can find another opportunity to attend an Appleseed event. Remember, a Rifleman persists!

John - you snuck in at the last minute, but I'm glad we had an opening for you. I know you absorbed a lot of knowledge over the weekend, and I hope you can continue honing it over the off-season and come back next year.  We should have the 2025 event calendar published for New York sometime in February.

Kyle - massive props to you for running that right-handed RPR all weekend, but I really want to see what you can do with a left-handed semi-auto ;)  Anthony, I think you were our other lefty - Great job out there. I really enjoyed watching the points of instruction click with you over the weekend.

Scott and Bill - you guys are both getting close to Rifleman territory, and I hope you continue on that journey because it's very rewarding to earn that patch. Thank you for being so attentive and engaged at our shoots, it's great to know you're getting something out of our instruction.

Lynann - it was a pleasure meeting you! You were awesome, and I admire you for bringing a family heirloom bolt-action to the firing line and putting it through its paces. I am also eager to see what you can do with your 10/22  :---

David & Diane - you are both so kind! I'm glad you were able to get something new out of this event, and I hope it's not your last Appleseed because you are both a lot of fun to have on the range. David, congrats on earning your Rifleman patch with iron sights!  I was chuckling at how quickly you jumped back onto your scope after that, but believe me I get it!

Evan - great that you could make it down with Mike and Bucky to join us for another shoot. Hopefully it has been beneficial for you to get experience on the firing line with our other instructors in Vermont and New York.

Zachary, buddy - I am honored we got to be a part of your first Appleseed experience. Your Mom and Dad mean a lot to the program there in NY, and whether or not you choose to follow in their footsteps one day, I hope we can continue having fun on the range together for years to come.

Vince! Our DISTINGUISHED Rifleman. It was nice to see you back out in Saratoga. You have one of the best shooting jackets I've seen, and obviously the impressive marksmanship skills to back it up. Thank you for being out there with us again this year.

Linus and Lee - it wouldn't be a NY shoot without you! Thank you for continuing to travel and support our events around the state, and congratulations on your impressive Riflemen scores. Your gift was so thoughtful, and I look forward to showing it off with the Appleseed crew in Williamson next month.

I would like to extend our deepest thanks to SaraSpa Rod and Gun Club for hosting us again - and to Dan, Nikki and all the members of the club who roll out the red carpet for our events. SaraSpa has a long history of supporting Project Appleseed in NY, and we hope it's a partnership that continues for years to come.

Last but not least - thank you to our incredible crew of volunteers who traveled in to Saratoga and made this event a success: Bogie, Dude, Hawkman, Cujocop, ChrispyBacon, Cannibal, Bucky and LadyRimfire (who graciously accepted her blue hat at this event!). Thank you so much for everything you do to keep Liberty, Marksmanship and History alive in New York!

ChrispyBacon

Great job everyone! I love the strong showing from New York at every event. Looking forward to Williamson.

LadyRimfire

We had such a great time! It was great seeing familiar faces and becoming reacquainted. :)

I'm so proud of Zachary! This was only his 4th time ever shooting and he did amazing! All the instructors  were so helpful, but a special shout out to ChrispyBacon and Dude for your 1 on 1 instruction with him when he was having some difficulties. You guys rock!

As with every event, thank you so much to all the volunteers for your time and dedication. We look forward to seeing you all in Williamson!
