Saturday dawned warm and clear with 8 patriots standing on the green. Well not really a green but they were eager and progressed well with the lone AQT of the day generating 1 rifleman score of 238. Great shooting Steve!

On Sunday after safety review and some warmups we shot several AQTs. Steve turned in a couple more rifleman scores as did Josh with a high of 226. The Meier family was all smiles with:Adam-209, Christina 199 , and 12 year old Emme with a 200. Great job by all! We had some great DOM stories on Sunday with Adam participating and even got in some 100 yard rimfire. A great shoot!

At awards time we surprised 209Ken with a small token of  appreciation in the form of a 50 event pin with M-Dawg making the handoff.

What a great group of patriots! They endured the heat on Saturday and enjoyed the milder temps on Sunday. All the while staying safe and engaged.

Thank you Flintlock54 for hosting this event on your property.

Good Josh got his patch on the second day.  He was close day 1 despite scopes coming loose.

It's not about perfection -- it's about progress!!

I LOVE this stuff!

"Perhaps you and I have lived with this miracle too long to be properly appreciative. Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again" Ronald Reagan
