It was a great weekend at the Sportsman's Club of Battle Creek. We had 13 amazing shooters come out to help us celebrate our heritage. A shoot boss could not ask for a better group of shooters, they were all in high spirts and willing to learn. Despite the heat on Saturday everyone pushed through to make is a great weekend. The shooters took what they learned and applied it to their shooting with 8 of them scoring Rifleman and the rest getting very close. Clinton, Bruce, Matt and Alister were on fire hitting rifleman time and time again. Emily, Payton hit their score for the first time, so did Misty with a 210 earning her a baptism from the waters from under the north bridge. Joseph, Michael, and Justin were getting close with scores hitting around 200. With just a little more practice I'm confident they will see those scores.

I want to thank all the instructors that came out to help with the event, they made it fun and enjoyable for all the shooters. The instruction over the weekend was on point and you could tell the shooters were getting it.

I would also like to thank the Sportsman's Club of Battle Creek for hosting the event as always they were welcoming and a great range to host an event at. The range had been a great supporter of Project Appleseed over the years and I am happy to have such a wonderful range hosting events.

Now I know there were pictures taken so lets start getting them up for everyone to enjoy.

Deadshot

Thank you for a great time. Appleseed has taught me a lot about marksmanship and made me more confident as a shooter. Looking forward to seeing you all next year

It was great to spend time with old friends, new friends and family this weekend in Battle Creek! I am proud of my sons for their accomplishments; Alistair with an impressive 235 on his trusty, stock Savage A22 and Logan with his first Rifleman score of 224 on only his second shoot! Great job guys!! Congratulation to the other shooters who got Rifleman and those that are improving toward that coveted mark. The instructors in Battle Creek are top notch and stretch us to our best each time while still having fun along the way. I have, and will continue to, promote Appleseed to shooter both young and old for great instruction and awesome history lessons.

Thanks again, Scotch out!

A huge "Bless you, Thank you" to the host range along with everybody who helped take it from a brutally hot day, to an enjoyable, memorable weekend. Congratulations to those who shot rifleman score; persistence is the word for those needing to accomplish that yet. Dry fire can be your friend. Also covered in the hand out booklet.... Just sayin'
